Approved by state board of education (mental or physical inability to attend, immediate demands of the farm or home, etc.)

Home School Provisions
Maintain such minimum curriculum standards as are required of public schools; must be recognized by Office of Non-Public Schools and meet requirements of Article 39 of Chapter 115C (115C-547, et seq. standardized testing, high school competency, health and safety standards notice)

Penalties on Parents for Noncompliance
Class 3 misdemeanor
